Vineyard and elaboration
The first Pazo Arretén vines were planted in 1989, the same year when Camilo José Cela, a great friend of Casa Grande de Arretén, was awarded the Nobel Prize.
It ages on the grape's own lees to perfect the wine base. The result is an Albariño with greater volume, oiliness and personality. The intention is to keep the Atlantic freshness, the mineral balance and the saline elegance of the grape.
Distillery
Three friends with a long tradition in common -vinification and artisan distillation- join forces to keep alive this ancestral tradition that is becoming more and more industrialised, in order not to lose their ancestors' know-how.
