Ventresca de Bonito del Norte is obtained from the juiciest and tastiest part of this fish, specifically an area between the belly and the head (hence the name "ventresca").

DESCRIPTION

The white tuna is caught during fishing season in the By of Biscay, one by one with hooks, as has been done for centuries, when wessels from the Cantabrian harbours set sail using small boats with oars and sails (chalupas) and fished the valued blue specimen.

Extra virgin olive oil has a high content of polyphenols such as vitamin E, which are powerful natural antioxidants and have been used as a natural preservative since Greek and Etruscan times.

It also adds an exquisite flavour to white tuna belly, making a perfect combination.

Store in a cool and dry place. Keep away from light and heat sources. Once opened, keep refrigerated, covered with extra virgin olive oil and use by 4 days.
