|Do you like nutritious snacks? Here you have the Toasted Pistachios with EVOO, Honey and Paprika, a delicious, healthy and very nutritious snack that you can eat without remorse. We can think of a thousand ways to eat and combine them. They have a crunchy texture and a sweet touch from honey, smoky from Pimentón de la Vera and fruity from lemon that makes them irresistible. Take note because if you like pistachios, you will love this recipe.
Ingredients of the shortbread with toasted Pistachios with EVOO honey and paprika
- 60g butter
- 30g icing sugar
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- 120g of flour
- 50g of Roasted pistachios with honey, EVOO and La Chinata Paprika
- 50g of Dark Chocolate with EVOO La Chinata
First of all, chop the pistachios a little with a knife.
In a bowl, mix the softened butter, icing sugar and salt using an electric whisk.
Then add the flour and pistachios and mix with a spatula until you have a dough. Crush with your hands and cover with plastic wrap. Refrigerate for 20'.
Preheat the oven to 180ºC and prepare a baking tray with parchment paper.
Then roll out the dough with a kitchen rolling pin until it is 5 mm thick. Cut with cutters or knife. Bake for 10'-12' until the cookies are just beginning to brown around the edges.
Meanwhile, heat the dark chocolate for a few seconds in the microwave until melted. When the cookies are cold, cover half with chocolate and sprinkle with more pistachios. Let cool and serve.
