Recipe: Oregano Flatbread

With a very particular intense and fresh flavor, the Oregano Flavoured Extra Virgin Olive Oil contains one of the most used spices in the Mediterranean Diet. Perfect for this oregano flatbread.

It is especially recommended to be consumed cold or at a low temperature, to maintain its properties and aroma, but it is also a good accompaniment to hot dishes.

We propose a great recipe that will make your mouth water, put on the apron that we started with!

INGREDIENTS OF THE OREGANO FLAT BREAD

PROCEDURE

  1. In a bowl mix the flour, water, yeast and salt. Knead everything until unified and finally add the EVOO seasoning with Oregano La Chinata.
  2. Lower the dough to a flat surface and knead for 5 minutes until you get a smooth textured dough. Place in a bowl and cover with a cloth, let rest for 30 minutes.
  3. Heat a skillet over low heat. Divide the dough into 6 buns and roll out very thinly with a rolling pin to obtain round flatbreads. No need to flour the dough. Brush one of the faces of the dough with the EVOO and Oregano Seasoning and sprinkle with dried oregano or Za'atar.
  4. Cook for 2 minutes in the hot pan, brush the other side of the dough, turn it over and cook for 2 more minutes. Repeat these steps with the remaining loaves.
  5. Serve warm with cheese, dips or your favorite jam.
  6. Enjoy!
