Recipe: Olive Focaccia with Cantabrian Anchovies

Focaccia is a traditional delicacy of Italian cuisine. This delicacy is usually consumed as an appetizer. From La Chinata, we bring you a combination that will surprise your palate, thanks to the combination with our Cantabrian Anchovies. Read on for the recipe!

 

Focaccia ingredients

Procedure

  1. 1. Mix the flour, baker's yeast, sugar, salt, water and Extra Virgin Olive Oil in a bowl.
  2. 2. Knead for 5 minutes until a homogeneous but sticky dough is obtained.
  3. 3. Grease your hands with Olive Oil and grease a rectangular oven tray.
  4. 4. Place the dough on the tray and stretch with your hands. Let rise in a warm environment for 1 hour.
  5. 5. Preheat the oven to 200ºC.
  6. 6. Make holes with your fingertips on top of the risen focaccia and sprinkle with EVOO extra, salt flakes with chili, Rosemary and Manzanilla Olives Garlic and Rosemary. Also take advantage of the garlic from the olives.
  7. 7. Bake for 30' until the focaccia is golden and crisp.
  8. 8. Serve with steaks Cantabrian anchovies.
