Description
Malmierca Artisan Cheese Factory's semi-cured goat cheese is produced in the heart of the Monfragüe National Park, in the Biosphere Reserve, in the province of Cáceres.
There, in this unique natural space recognised as a Biosphere Reserve by Unesco in 2003, livestock is reared and fed on the botanical richness of the area, resulting in an excellent quality artisan product from the work of this family with a long cheese-making tradition.
It has a very creamy texture and a mild flavour with a hint of yoghurt as it is semi-cured. It also has a very balanced acidity.
The result is a gastronomic jewel with Extremaduran stamp, with great cultural and traditional value, and very natural, as no additives or preservatives are added.
It comes in vacuum-packed half-pieces.
