"Chicken with carrot jam La Chinata" a new creation for our contest

A follower of our blog, jimena vega He sends us his particular gastronomic proposal with which he participates in our monthly Creative Cooking contest, for which he has used our Carrot Jam.

We leave you with the basic details of your recipe for Chicken with Carrot Jam:


  • 6 boneless chicken breasts
  • 6 tablespoons of La Chinata carrot jam
  • 2 tablespoons grated or minced ginger
  • 6 tablespoons of soy sauce
  • 1 package of chopped chives
  • 1 teaspoon of spicy to taste.
  • carrots


Season the boneless breasts with crushed garlic and salt. Preferably from the day before.

They are browned in a frying pan on both sides with a little butter and placed in a refractory mold.

The sauce is prepared by mixing all the ingredients: jam, grated ginger, soy sauce, chopped chives and spicy to taste.

Cover the breasts with sauce, cover with aluminum foil and bake at 350º for half an hour. They are uncovered and served hot accompanied by cooked carrots.
