Pistachio Polvorones with Extra Virgin Olive Oil
Pistachio Polvorones with Extra Virgin Olive Oil have been one of the typical traditional Christmas pastries in Spain for centuries. In La Chinata, they belong to our selection of Christmas sweets, in which once again the quality of the ingredients and a handmade production are their hallmark, and guarantee an exquisite product.
On this occasion, unlike the rest of polvorones, they have been given a gourmet touch by adding pistachios instead of almonds, getting a different flavour with a crispy and very nutritious touch.
This way, they are made with our best Extra Virgin Olive Oil instead of butter, combined with flour, sugar and pistachios.
They are the ideal pairing for teas, infusions and coffees. They can also be eaten without anything else, as a snack or dessert.
As a serving suggestion, combine them with our EVOO Polvorones and our La Chinata Mantecados.
