The fruit dries up and acquires a dark red colour. It can be crumbled, ground, or saved whole. In this case, we pack it whole so that it better preserves its properties. We pack it in an airtight container for better conservation. Once opened, we recommend that it be stored in a dry place and away from light as it could lose its colour.
