La Chinata Red Pepper and Eggplant Spread is a perfect side dish for lunches and dinners. Elaborated with first quality products from Extremadura vegetable patches and La Chinata extra virgin olive oil, it is a gourmet product that gives a touch of personality to all your recipes.
Both with meats and vegetables, as well as with pasta or sauces, it is a soft spread with an intense flavour that reminds of “escalibada” and is suitable for plenty of combinations.
Besides, it is a product with great nutritional values, as red pepper and eggplant offer a lot of health benefits, as EVOO also does.
On one hand, red pepper is a source of provitamin A (Beta carotene and cryptoxanthin) that our organism transforms into vitamin A. It also has vitamins from groups B, C and E. And, among the minerals, potassium and, in lower proportion, magnesium, phosphorus, and calcium are present. It is also a great antioxidant.
On the other hand, eggplant is rich in potassium, copper, folic acid, magnesium and fibre. It also includes caffeic acid and chlorogenic acid that have great properties to fight against cancer, viruses, cell damage and harmful bacteria. Besides, it is also an antioxidant, reduces cholesterol, improves circulation and prevents heart and cardiovascular diseases.

Peppers (30%), tomato pulp, aubergines (19%), Extra virgin olive oil (14.8%), tomato concentrate, onion, fructose, milk protein, wine vinegar, basil, parsley, modified corn starch, salt, acidity corrector (lactic acid). Contains milk derivatives. May contain traces of sulphites, nuts and peanuts.
Nutrition Facts per 100g: Calories 726 kKJ/176 kcal, Total fat 14,9g, Saturated fat 1,7g, Carbohydrates 5,9g, Sugar 5g, Dietary Fiber 3,9g, Protein 2,4g, Salt 0,6g.
Store in a cool and dry place. Keep away from light and heat sources. Once opened, keep refrigerated and covered with Extra Virgin Olive Oil. Use by 9 days.
