This Cast Iron Mortar has been handcrafted in induction furnaces under rigorous control during the process. The result is a sustainable utensil, very resistant to high temperatures and highly durable, ideal to use over and over again without suffering damage or deformation.
Its careful and organic production process gives rise to a product that is very respectful with the handling of our spices, herbs and all kinds of seeds that we want to grind to make our dressings. This product has been elaborated by hand under strictly controlled conditions of time and temperature. It is a totally respectful utensil with the environment because cast iron is mixed with other materials of natural origin without chemical additives. Likewise, it has been subjected to a transformation process in induction furnaces that work under wind and hydroelectric energy. For each unit, a unique sand mold is used that is later recycled to make a new one.

The result is a product that is highly resistant to high temperatures, does not deform and is very durable over time. In addition, it is coated with organic canola oil that protects the iron from external damage such as stains or scratches and provides it with great non-stick capacity.
