This crianza red wine comes from organic vineyards located in a part of the Sierra de Gredos mountain at 800 metres above sea level, facing north and where the three types of granite of San Martín de Valdeiglesias are found: white, brown and pink granite. Each of the vineyards from Marañones has a different soil, some on hills and others on plains.

It is a red wine made with the Garnacha variety, in which the pure expression, both on the nose and on the palate, is the sloe, the sensation of fleshy fruit with a texture that is still a little crunchy. It is a winery that has very silky wines, due to the granularity of these granitic soils with quartz. That quartz nugget shows in the texture, length, finesse, elegance and florality of the wine.

This wine's colour is not-very-intense cherry. On the nose, it is balsamic, with aromas of mountain herbs, red fruit and dry stone. On the palate, it is tasty, balanced, with good fruitiness and dry yet ripe tannins.

The recommended serving temperature is 16ºC.
