La Chinata, a Spanish olive oil company founded in 1932, presents the "Selection" Extra Virgin Olive Oil, a variety that falls within the range of Collection Oils of the extreme firm. The product is a high-quality oil made with the best olives of the Manzanilla Cacereña variety, picked by hand in the olive groves of the northern regions of the province of Cáceres and cold-pressed within 24 hours after collection. With an intense flavor of fresh grass and a subtle sweet and fruity flavor, it has a high nutritional and therapeutic value as it is a unique variety with more than 75% of oleic acid, a much higher percentage than the rest.
The product is presented in a convenient 500 ml opaque glass container, which protects it from light, the main enemy of extra virgin oil. The range of collection oils is made up, in addition to the "Selection" Extra Virgin Olive Oil, "Ecological" Extra Virgin Olive Oil and Extra Virgin Olive Oil "en Rama".

La Chinata 'Selección' is a high-quality oil made with the best Manzanilla Cacereña olives, hand-picked from olive groves in the northern regions of the province of Cáceres (Sierra de Gata, Las Hurdes, La Vera, Valle del Jerte and Valle del Ambroz), and cold pressed within 24 hours of collection.
In these regions with a particular microclimate, harvesting begins in the first days of October and ends at the end of November. This is how unique and incomparable oils are obtained, both for their composition (its acidity is less than 0.3%) and for what can be appreciated with the senses.
It has an intense flavor of fresh grass, and is also both sweet and fruity. It also has a high nutritional and therapeutic value, since the Manzanilla Cacereña olive contains more than 75% of oleic acid, a much higher percentage than other varieties.
These characteristics remain unchanged for a long time, it has enormous stability. Due to its great flavor and therapeutic value, it is an ideal oil to use raw (salads, vegetables, cooked fish, carpaccios, etc.).
Packing
Ø Chinata 'Selection' is presented in opaque glass bottles to protect it from light, which is the worst enemy of extra virgin olive oil. Once the bottle is opened, we recommend consuming it as soon as possible to fully appreciate its characteristics and avoid oxidation.
