DESCRIPTION
La Chinata Acorn-fed Ibérico Ham comes from Iberian breed pigs reared and fed exclusively on acorns and natural grasses from the Extremaduran pastures and it is cured for 4 years.
These pigs are raised under a free grazing regime in the large tracts of land in the pasture of Extremadura, and they feed on acorns from the montanera season.
The Extremaduran pasture produces a large quantity of high quality acorns and, thanks to its large tracts of land, the pigs can move freely and feed exceptionally well in a perfect climate for their development.
