Coppa comes from the Italian word ‘capicola’ or ‘capocollo’ from Latin ‘caput’, which means ‘head’ and ‘collum’ wich means ‘neck’. It is made from cured pig’s entire shoulder and/or neck. It is a cured and sliced product, succulent and tender, ready to serve.
it is perfect as a snack, together with a cheese table or as a starter. It pairs very well with red wines, such as Cepas El Raposo.
