Recipe: Beet Hummus with Oregano Seasoning

On hot days, nothing better than a fresh and light recipe like this LA CHINATA Beetroot Hummus with Oregano Seasoning. Healthy, nutritious and very easy to make, do you want to try it? take note!

 

  • Preparation: 15 minutes
  • Servings: 4 pax

INGREDIENTS FOR BEETROOT HUMMUS WITH OREGANO SEASONING 

  • 300 grams of cooked chickpeas.
  • The juice of a lemon.
  • 1 tablespoon of tahini.
  • 1 clove of garlic (without the germ)
  • 1 tablespoon of LA CHINATA Oregano Seasoning.
  • 2 teaspoons of cumin.
  • 1 beetroot of about 180 grams (cooked)
  • 1 teaspoon of sesame seeds.
  • Salt and pepper.

ELABORATION

  1. Blend the chickpeas, the lemon juice, the tahini, the garlic (previously removing the germ), the salt, the cumin and the beetroot. We beat until we create a homogeneous cream.
  2. Add the LA CHINATA Oregano Seasoning in a thread while we continue beating, to emulsify the mixture.
  3. Plate and finish by placing the crumbled fresh cheese and sesame seeds on top of the humus, as well as a splash of LA CHINATA Oregano Seasoning.
