Vineyard and elaboration
This wine comes from different vineyards treated completely by hand and located in different altitudes, planted on steep terraces in Armendi, one of the sub-areas in which Ribera Sacra designation is divided. Vineyards are between 35 and 40 years old and soils are mainly formed by granite, slate and sand. Harvesting is handmade and collected with small baskets. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks, where temperature is controlled.
Winery
The winery dates back to the beggining of the century. Wines are prepared following the traditional method. In 1991 it was greatly remodelled so as to achieve the Rivera Sacra Designation. Most vineyards are located in the sub-area of Armandi.
Nowadays it holds approximately 28,000 liters and expects to elaborate eco-friendly wines with native Galician grape types in a few years' time.
