La Chinata Mini Tasting Box comes in a beautiful sheer case and includes four varieties of EVOO in a small size. They are Hojiblanca, Arbequina, Picual and Manzanilla Cacereña, being the latter the most characteristic and identifying variety of La Chinata.
This box has been created for all those who want to enjoy different aromas and essences and are looking for a unique flavour in their dishes. In addition, each of these varieties is recommended for a different type of dish.
Their small shape make them perfect as a gift, to take as a hand luggage on a plane or to carry comfortably when eating out.

On the one hand, Manzanilla Cacereña EVOO is elaborated with an olive variety from Gata-Hurdes region which can exclusively be found in the North of Cáceres province. It has a very balanced flavour between spicy, sweet and bitter.
Given the characteristics of this variety of olives, which have little fat yield to produce oil, its elaboration process is more expensive than other varieties' ones. The Manzanilla Cacereña EVOO is the most versatile one, making it ideal for all types of culinary preparations.
On the other hand, Picual EVOO has great strength and body. Its flavour is slightly bitter and spicy, with an aroma that reminds of fruit herbs. This EVOO withstands high temperatures very well, so it is perfect for frying.
In addition, Arbequina EVOO is made with a soft, light and sweet olive variety, with a delicate texture. It has a fruity and sweet flavour, with apple and almond touches. Thanks to its softness and lightness, it is recommended for fresh and cooked vegetables, steamed fish, as well as delicate dishes, sauces and pastries, since it adds flavour without masking the rest of the ingredients.
Finally, Hojiblanca EVOO is characterized by its vegetable flavour with sweet touches. It leaves a slight burning taste and an almond aftertaste. Likewise, its aroma reminds of fresh fruit and white flowers. It is the ideal EVOO variety for blue fish such as tuna or salmon, as well as for meat or fish carpaccios.
