La Chinata extra virgin olive oil is a high-quality oil, obtained from the selection of the best olives collected in the Sierra de Gata, northwest of Cáceres, to guarantee a product of the highest quality to our customers.
This 500ml PET bottle format favours the condition and conservation of the EVOO since this material is much more resistant to breakage and impact, lighter and therefore more comfortable for daily use. It is a much cheaper alternative to the glass format. In addition, dark PET helps preserve the properties of EVOO for longer thanks to its ability to protect it from light.
DESCRIPTION
Our Extra Virgin Olive Oil has four main characteristics:
- An intense yellow colour with some green touches.
- A sweet and flat taste, without the burning and bitter tastes that are characteristic of the oils from southern Spain; therefore, a very pleasant taste is achieved, making its tasting a real pleasure.
- A very dense ripe fruit aroma.
- A very high fatty acids content, which makes this one of the most perfect Virgin oils of all those obtained in the different olive-growing areas of Spain.
The region of Sierra de Gata is well-known for its olives, mainly used for direct consumption, that is table olives, known throughout Spain as 'manzanilla cacereña'. They are very similar in texture and flavour, leaving a pleasant aroma on the palate. And part of that aroma can be appreciated in our EVOO, as we use the smaller olives that cannot be allocated for direct consumption, so La Chinata Extra Virgin Olive Oil inherits their virtues and best-known characteristics.
Its storage in a plastic bottle allows greater agility and convenience for use on the table. In addition, it provides more resistance, protecting against possible fractures and impacts that spill or damage the product.
