Seed oils are becoming popular in recent times for bringing together the multiple properties of seeds concentrated in organic oils. This makes it easier to enjoy them in a multitude of the most varied recipes.
And it is that they are rich in fatty acids and have many nutritional properties for the body. That is why at LA CHINATA we could not ignore them and we have prepared a case with four 100ml bottles to always have on hand and provide a touch of different flavor, texture and smell to our dishes.
Organic Sesame Oil
This oil is made from toasted sesame and is very popular in Asian and Middle Eastern cuisine. It is made, unlike the rest, from toasted sesame, which gives it its dark colour. It is very tasty, so it is recommended to use in small quantities. This oil provides an intense sesame aroma and gives a very special touch to our dishes. It is ideal for dressing salads, stews and noodles.
Iberian pork tataki
To make this recipe it is necessary to season the Iberian pork with salt and pepper and sear it in a very hot frying pan with La Chinata Extra Virgin Olive Oil until golden.
Then we make the pairing by mixing grated ginger in a bowl together with lime and lemon juice. Add a bit of lime and orange peel. Finally, we add soybean to the mixture and abundant Organic sesame oil. Mix everything well and submerge the meat in the marinade (it is important that it is well covered. If necessary, place a plate on top to weigh it down). Finally, we let it rest in the fridge for 12 hours.
After 12 hours, before eating it, we take it out of the fridge to warm up and then cut it into fillets.
The meat is placed on a base of our Prepared Tortillas La Chinata, that we can fry a little in the pan. And we finish by sprinkling some sesame seeds on the prey. Enjoy!
Organic Sunflower Oil
It is first cold pressed, so it retains all its nutritional and organoleptic qualities (smell, taste, touch...). Its flavor is very reminiscent of pipes and it is especially recommended for sauces and pastries, among others.
Cake with sunflower oil
We suggest you make a cake with it. Organic Sunflower Oil La Chinata, an unrefined oil with all its nutrients and properties. The seed flavor reveals its quality, very different from the refined sunflower oils that are usually found on the market and have hardly any flavor. In this case we have opted for a gluten-free cake recipe because we have used cornmeal. Its taste is addictive!
Organic Walnut Oil
It is first cold-pressed, light in color and with a mild flavor and smell. It is recommended to consume it raw to preserve its properties and flavor and it is rich in Omegas 3, 6 and 9. It is perfect for salads and vinaigrettes, as well as for pastry recipes such as sponge cakes, cookies or brownies.
Tender sprout salad with Sheep cheese with Truffle and walnuts
To make this delicious salad we need:
- Tender shoots.
- Sheep Cheese Cubes with La Chinata Truffle.
- Organic Walnut Oil La Chinata.
- Vinegar of Modena La Chinata.
It is only necessary to mix everything and add a vinaigrette made with La Chinata Walnut Oil.
Very simple ingredients for an amazing result!
Organic Hazelnut Oil
It is an ecological oil of first cold pressure. It has a flavor reminiscent of nuts and its aroma is sweet. Many health benefits are attributed to it as it is rich in vitamin E, manganese and copper, but also omega-6 and omega-9 fatty acids, as well as a great source of antioxidants.
It is recommended to enhance the flavour of salads and fish, as well as for baking.
Fresh wild rice salad with tuna belly
We are going to need:
- Wild rice.
- Piquillo peppers in EVOO La Chinata.
- Tuna belly in EVOO La Chinata.
- Gordal olives stuffed with garlic with fine herbs La Chinata.
- Organic Hazelnut Oil La Chinata.
For this salad you only have to cook the rice and then mix with all the ingredients. Finish with a little vinegar to taste and La Chinata Organic Hazelnut Oil. Delicious and very simple!
